Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., said he will run for re-election in Nevada’s 4th Congressional District in a press release.
Although Horsford was widely expected to run for re-election, his formal announcement comes after a round of media appearances earlier this week in which Horsford assured Nevadans that he is ready to get back to work following a preventative six-way heart bypass surgery he underwent early in July.
I've met Horsford and he is a nice guy but he is wrong on many issues.
Is he beatable? If the GOP can recruit a quality opponent, I think Horsford is beatable. The district has a significant rural population and if the GOP can tie Horsford to Obama and his failed policies, then the GOP candidate can win.
But the GOP in Clark County and State are dysfunctional right now so I am not that confident they can pull it out.
