Karma?

I feel sorry for the family but not the thug graffiti vandal.
From the New York Daily News: A Miami Beach cop used a stun gun on a teen graffiti artist after he used spray paint to tag an abandoned McDonald's.
He died shortly after.
Israel Hernandez-Llach, 17, was a braces-wearing, "Spongebob Squarepants" fan who collected stuffed animals.
The precocious teen won awards for his paintings that were showcased at local galleries.
But Hernandez-Llach expanded his canvas to the city's forsaken buildings — much to the chagrin of the police who merely saw vandalism, not art.
"All he wanted was for people to see the beauty of the world through his art," his adult friend, Heather Bozzone, told the Daily News.
“He was such a talented artist and had a special gift worth developing.”
Hernandez-Llach's chances of changing the world ended early Tuesday morning when cops saw him spraying paint on the closed fast-food restaurant's shutters, the Miami Herald reported.
The high school senior tried to flee on his skateboard but wound up running instead, according to his two friends, Felix Hernandez and Thiago Souza, who were standing watch.
Police say they pursued Hernandez-Llach as he hid in a building, climbed a fence and disregarded all orders in his attempt to escape.
"During the foot pursuit, the subject encountered officers face to face ... and ignored officers' commands to stop," Miami Beach Police Department Chief Raymond Martinez said in a release.
"In order to affect (sic) his arrest, an officer deployed his conducted electrical weapon (TASER)."
Hernandez and Souza say that the police also shoved him against a wall.
The cops allegedly started high-fiving and congratulating one another as the teen fell to the ground.
"His body was on the floor like motionless, and they were all just laughing," Souza told local station WSVN.
"That made me feel terrible inside," Hernandez added. "These cops are gruesome, and they don't really care."

Graffiti is a major problem in large and small cities.  It is not art as some idiot thinking people.  The vandalism brings down property values of the area, it is unsightly and they are using other people's property to vandalize.
It certainly was proper for the cops to chase the thug vandal and when he reused to stop, it was proper to taser him until he complied with the police officer's demands.
It's too bad he died, but I wonder what his toxicology blood tests will reveal.
When Oscar Goodman, former mayor of the City of Las Vegas said they should cut off the thumbs of those  who vandalize property that is not theirs-the graffiti vandals- his solution to the problem isn't too far off of the solution of vandalism.
My proposal to stopping the vandals is confiscate anything used while the vandalism occurs, including their transportation (car, motorcycle, bike) jail time, community service of cleaning up vandalism in the community, restitution and 3 strikes and you are in prison for 5 years.
And if 1 gets killed because of their own stupidity, oh well, 1 more set of DNA is out the system.
