12,000 Nevadan's Get More Welfare thanks To Reid and Obama

From the Las Vegas Sun: "Some 12,000 unemployed Nevada workers who had exhausted their weekly jobless benefits will qualify for another 20 weeks of payments under legislation signed by President Obama earlier this month." http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2009/nov/18/12000-nevadans-qualify-extension-jobless-benefits/
Those 12,000 people already have gone through almost a year and half of unemployment and now they will qualify for almost 100 weeks of unemployment.
This is no longer unemployment compensation, it is a way of life. This is welfare to the unemployed, but just a higher paid welfare participant. These people are ripping off the system and really, there is no excuse not to find a job in Las Vegas.
While you may not find construction jobs or casino jobs, there are other employers hiring. There is Wal-Mart, McDonalds, Rebel, and other positions such as trucking and taxi driver. You may not like those jobs, but too bad. They are jobs and they pay decently.
Bu thanks to Obama and Reid, they can loaf around for another 20 weeks, thanks to those paying the unemployment compensation for a bunch of loafers.
