Kent Davenport To Harry Reid: Shut Up

Kent Davenport, owner of Quality Hearing Aids, a Las Vegas business, has been running commercials on the radio telling Harry Reid to shut up. Kent is a folksy businessman who does his own hearing aid commercials. He boasts that is a very frugal businessman.
Basically, Davenport's commercials are saying that the elections are year away and Reid(Dumbass-NV) to stop airing all the commercials Reid and his surrogates are running. Davenport is the actor in the commercial.
You cannot go a day without hearing at least 2 or more of Reid's commercials. Harry brags about the jobs he has created or saved (lies) and how he helped solve the credit and banking problems (somewhat true).
Reid is like Obama, they both are narcissists and just love having their names in the news and I guess most politicians are like that. And to give Reid a slight break, he has something like $25 million in the bank, so he has to spend it on something.
But in the end, Reid is virtually hated by everyone in Nevada- left and right. Reid will spend and spend and in the end , he will still be defeated next November because people are tired of him.
So, congratulations to Kent Davenport for running these commercials. He is saying what most everyone is thinking. And thank you Mr. Davenport for putting your money on the line. Now, just beware of all the Reid's minions and liberal attack dogs that will come after you.

  2. I heard this commercial on KXNT Mr. Davenport and I love it!!! Keep up the good work because Harry Reid can't win again in 2010... he just can't!!! I moved here from Washington state about 1 1/2 ago and from what I can see he's never done a thing for the state of Nevada except line his pockets.

  3. I would also like to thank Kent Davenport for his comments on Harry Reid in his radio commercial. Kent hit the nail on the head when he asked why are the special interest groups paying for pro Harry Reid ads and what do they expect in return. If I ever need a hearing aid, I will track Kent Davenport down to give him my business. I appreciate his courage and logic.

  4. I don't need a hearing aid but when I do I will see Mr. Davenport. I also want to thank Mr. Davenport for saying what most Nevadans are thinking. Many times thank you.

  5. I think your comments about Harry Reid are right on target and should apply equally to Pres. Obama. Not a day goes by that he is not making a speech on the radio or on TV, trying to teach me something and letting me knows that he knows better than I do what is good for me and the rest of the country.

  6. Dear Mr. Davenport. Mixing politics with hearing aids.. What the F? Your a jerk and I would certainly NEVER deal with you and WILL advise anyone else to go elsewhere for a hearing aid.

  7. What is wrong, anon, with something spending their own money to tell a person to call off the special interest advertisements?
If you don't want to spend your money there, that is your right, just as it is Davenports right to spend his money as he pleases.

  8. Thank you, Mr. Davenport, for your Harry Reid "shut up" ads. I cheer for you each time I hear them because you are so right-on. What Nevada does not need are any more Reids in office, Harry or Rory!

If we ever need a hearing aid, we will look you up because you are one of us, the good guys!

    Yesterday I heard the commercial
where You said We want to kill
    this bill meaning Obama care.
I have only one question who,s We
Tell Me do You ask Your clients if they are
republicans and then turn them away if they
are not You should because thats what You are implying when You say We want to kill Obama care. If I ever need a hearing aid I now know
one place I won,t go for one and that goes
for all democrats thank You for letting Me
know what kind of a jerk You really are.

    Sincerely,
    Gerry Bonar

  18. Thanks for stopping by Gerry. I appreciate it. I haven't heard the new commercial. While there maybe 1 or 2 good points in Obama Care, that doesn't mean the whole bill is good because it is not. It raises the price of health care significantly and it is hurting the middle to lower class in the U.S. Average people to be exact.
But I am pretty sure Kent is not denying coverage to the Democrats.

Kent Davenport when You run your commercials
You should tell everyone that this is only
Your opinion not the view point of the entire
country. There are other people in this world
who are entitled to their view. Remember
Republicans are the minority in this country.

    Sincerely,

    1. I guess the GOP is in charge now, so our views now represent the entire country, using your logic.
And if you listen to the commercial, he does state that these are his opinions.

  20. Umm, Gerry, he does. If you actually listen to the commercial, Davenport points out that these views are " me, myself and I".
Nice try and play again another time.

  21. Since Harry Reid was easily re-elected in 2010, Mr. Davenport's opinions obviously have no effect on the people of Las Vegas. If he wants to spend his own money on political commercials (not that they seem to do any good here)... hey, it's a free country.
