Oscar Goodman Blows Chance To Become Governor, But Who Set Him Up?

Oscar Goodman, City of Las Vegas mayor, also dubbed The World's Happiest Mayor, just shot down his chance to run for governor.
According to TMZ.com, hardly a reputable news organization (probably on the scale of the National Enquirer) has a video the shows Goodman as an auctioneer and making insensitive comments to a woman bidder. From TMZ.com "One sign Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman might be a bad auctioneer: He turned down the highest bidder ... and then called her a "fat and short Bette Midler."...The Mayor let the unbelievable dis loose at a recent auction in Sin City
, after a woman he repeatedly said looked like the Divine, red-haired, Vegas performer entered a bid of $2,750 for the item on the auction block. In the video -- shot from a distance -- Goodman says he won't accept her money because "she's fat and she's short." I was unable to view the video, probably because of my stone age computer.
Maybe Oscar had one too many martinis that night, but whatever the reason, it was a very stupid comment, even if it was done in jest.
Oscar has been thinking about running for governor and this video, if accurate, will doom his candidacy. I like Oscar and would have voted for him if he won the primary.
One wonders where TMZ got the video. Something tells me it came from the Rory Reid (son of Harry Reid-Dumbass NV)camp. He is the only major candidate for governor for the Dems. Goodman is registered as a Democrat but would have run as an independent. However, you cannot rule out a GOP candidate as well, but which one? There 3 main candidates in the GOP primary and they are not thinking about Goodman, at least not yet. So, my money is on Reid.
