Ambulance Report On Michael Jackson's Death

I have only made 1 other post about Michael Jackson's death but I find this article interesting because it really shows what happens when a person calls 911 when a person is in full cardiac arrest. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/761057/Damning-ambulance-report-that-could-put-stars-medic-behind-bars.html
Even though I was an EMT, I didn't really work with paramedics that much. I rode for a day with Chicago paramedics in 1996 and that was very interesting and we rescued 3 dead people, so to speak.
What I found interesting is that the paramedics try 2 rounds of drug treatments and look at your carbon dioxide readings before they declare a patient dead.
It also shows that some reporting about Jackson's death was false. For instance, initial reports stated that Murrary was doing CPR on Jackson's bed and that was false and also there was an IV already in place in Jackson's left leg. That is very unusual.
One other thing that is wrong about this article- Murray is also practicing in Las Vegas. Also, the reports there is a page 2 and no page 2 is mentioned in the article. So, you can't trust newspapers.

But the reason I bring this to your attention is more of a learning esperience, what EMS reports look like and the documention that is involved. As a former EMT for the Maple Bluff Fire Dept. by Madison, WI., I can relate. These reports are filled out thousands a time a day, throughout the United States by firefighter/paramedics, private ambulance crews and volunteer EMTs. These people respond to thousands of calls a day- some get paid, some don't, but they all try to do the best they can to treat a patient.
