Job Bill Passes, Wal-Mart Rejoices

The newest job bill has passed and soon will become law. The main incentive of the bill is that employers will won't have to pay social security on the new employee for 9 months or so. So, who benefits? Certainly not small business. If a small business needs to hire, they will because they actually need to hire the employee because of business reasons. But large businesses like Wal-Mart, who hire a lot of employees because a large turnover will be the biggest beneficiary. They won't hire more workers because of the law, but they will benefit and get a large tax break.
Who loses? An employee who is looking to change jobs or to better themselves. For instance, if I want to change jobs to better myself, I will be put at a disadvantage against someone who has been underemployed or unemployed. So, the federal government is taking sides on who is getting hired and that is wrong.
Thank you, federal government, you blew it again.
