For the second time in two weeks, the Cloud Nine balloon ride, across the street from Mandalay Bay, was knocked out out of the sky. The balloon was on the ground and no riders were on board, so there were no injuries.
About 2 weeks ago, heavy winds caused a hard landing with passengers on board. This time, it looks like the balloon is very heavily damaged.
Not sure if they will rebuild or even if they will get permission to fly again.

The balloon is done, completely destroyed and shredded. I saw the video, it ripped apart in 50mph+ HELLATIOUS winds. I mean, it was like a hurricane. The passenger compartment thing was like all crooked and looked broken too. WOW! Such horrible luck for the balloon, I feel sorry for it. :(
