A Few Thoughts On The Carson City Shooting

Today a gunman shot and killed 3 people. From the Reno Gazette Herald: UPDATE 7:45 p.m.: The gunman went all the way to the back of the restaurant to the back area and opened fire, Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong said.
When the gunman left the restaurant, he stood in the parking lot and shot into the nearby businesses, shattering the windows of a barbecue restaurant and an H&R Block and a casino across the street....
5:42 p.m. update: Authorities gave a few more details Tuesday afternoon about a fatal multiple shooting at a Carson City IHOP earlier that day, but the motive for the attack that left four dead, including the gunman, and eight more wounded remained unknown.
FBI Supervisory Special Agent Michael West said at a news conference shortly after 5 p.m. that there was no sign the attack by Eduardo Sencion, 32, was an act of terrorism and nothing outside of the victims — five of which were National Guard members either partially or fully in uniform — to indicate Sencion was targeting the Guard specifically.
Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said at that news conference that two of the three slain victims were male Guardsman. The other deceased was a civilian woman. All were shot inside the International House of Pancakes. Authorities said that at least one person was shot outside the restaurant.
There were “words said,” during the incident, West said, but it was unclear what was actually spoken.
He said Sencion, a Carson City resident, used a version of an AK-47 but it was unknown if it was an automatic weapon. Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said at the news conference that another AK-47 variant and a pistol were found at the scene, but were not fired during the attack.
Furlong described Sencion as single and born in Mexico but possessing a U.S. passport. At an earlier news conference, he said that Sencion had no criminal record and was not in the military.
Out of the eight wounded, three had “relatively minor” wounds — which meant they were shot in a limb or extremity, Furlong said at the early-evening conference. He said the other five were shot in “critical” areas. He did not have updates on anyone’s condition.
“This is a real tragic event,” Furlong said.
The five National Guard members — two women and three men — were having an informal meeting at the IHOP, he said.

First, how did a Mexican with mental issues be able to get ahold of a AK-47 or any other gun or rifle? First, the fact he had mental health issues should have been a disqualifer for him to getting ahold of any firearm. But is this guy a U.S,. citizen? It said he had a U.S. passport, but that doesn't automatically mean he has U.S. citizenship and how did they know he had a U.S. passport?.
If this person had mental health issues, why was he allowed into the United States in the first place?
His family is a piece of shit also, from the RGH: But in a follow-up call after a reporter verified Eduardo Sencion’s address and employer, the man at the Tahoe market identified himself as Gilberto Sencion Gonzalez, 46. He said he was Eduardo’s elder brother and admitted knowing about the shootings.
Gilberto said he arrived in South Lake Tahoe from Sacramento on Tuesday afternoon to find the Mi Pueblo Market closed. He said he had just found out about his relative’s rampage.
“I feel very sorry about what happened,” he said. “I feel very sorry about those people. I’m trying to find out what happened…How would you feel if your mom or your dad did this thing?”
He declined to discuss whether Eduardo had any mental health problems. He said he didn’t think he was angry about anything. Gilberto said he expected more media calls.
“You guys (the media) are going to make a lot of money from this,” he said. “In order for me to give you more information you will have to pay me a lot of money too.”
He declined to say anything further.

I certainly hope their family business goes under because of this and if this is their attitude, Mexico, I hear, is a nice place to visit, especially Juarez, Mexico. Take a hike, you bums.
this sounds like a sick shooting by a person with mental health issues who should never had access to a gun and the family of shooters are some of the biggest a=hole is which they want to profit off what their relative did. Get rid of them all, even if they are in the U.S. legally.
