Danica Patrick is having the race of her life so far in the Nationwide race in Elkhart Lake Wi. She currently is in 3rd after 33 laps and is first off of pit road following a yellow flag. The first 2 cars did not pit.
So, she just may do it today.
Update, on the restart, she went from 3rd to 6th.
Update: 12 laps to go, with a restart, Danica is 3rd and now 2nd.
8 laps to go and under green, She is in 5th.
4 laps to go and she is still 5th and she is in first of all the full time Nationwide drivers.
Last lap, she got spun out by the 22 car and so Danica finished in 12th place. The 22 car is driven by Jacques Villeneuve about 1/2 lap from the finish.
Good race for 49 1/2 laps.
