This past week was not a good week in Las Vegas. Las Tuesday, we had some really nasty flooding, when many parts of the Valley got 1-2 inches of rain in about 30 minutes or less. Then, on Thursday, a drunk driver killed 4 people while drunk driving at 6:30 in the morning.
But we do have some good news: the 100 degree days are pretty much over and now, we will be having warm days and cool nights- beautiful weather by most people's standards.
This week of Pawn Stars are two reruns.
The first episode first aired on February 20, 2012: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2012/02/pawn-stars-review-february-20-2012.html
The second episode was first aired on June 25, 2012: http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2012/06/pawn-stars-review-june-25-2012.html
Hopefully, next week will 2 new episodes and soon, I hope, will be their Sturgis adventure. It will be interesting if they run into the folks from the show " Full Throttle Saloon".. From the LVRJ:
Rick and son Cory Harrison of "Pawn Stars" fame are heading to Sturgis, S.D., and one of the world's largest motorcycle rallies.
"Pawn Stars" cameramen will be filming their adventure for a future episode.
They leave today on the 1,061-mile trip in a motorhome.
"I'm taking my Road King and a '67 Triumph," Rick Harrison said.
He
said the upcoming schedule includes an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's
late-night talk show and flying to Argentina next month on a promotional
trip.
"We're the No. 1 show in all South America," he said.
The show's runaway success reminds me of a telephone call I received from comedy legend Shecky Greene a couple weeks ago.
The
call came a day or so after it was reported here that Austin "Chumlee"
Russell of "Pawn Stars" was reportedly getting $25,000 an episode and
living in a million-dollar mansion.
"I'm changing careers," Greene said.
With Shecky, there's always a punch line waiting in the wings.
"I'm opening a pawn shop," he said. http://www.lvrj.com/news/dion-at-caesars-on-a-longer-stay-165046486.html

Awesome review! I really love that show, it's the reason I started to attend the Alachua Pawn Shop that's near my house. Thank you for sharing this with us!
