It's Going To Be Very Hot In Las Vegas

Well, we do live in a desert.
From NOAA: AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH BELOW 4000 FEET REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM
FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
NEVADA...SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA...AND NORTHWEST ARIZONA.

* EXPECTED TEMPERATURES: HIGHS RANGING FROM 105 TO 110 FOR MUCH OF
  THE MOJAVE DESERT REGION...INCLUDING THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY...110 TO
  114 ALONG THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY AND FROM 119 TO 123 DEGREES
  AT FURNACE CREEK IN DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK.
