Considering how many occupations in the as Vegas that use harnesses for working a high heights, you would expect we would have many falls... but we haven't, except in the past several weeks.
On June 30, a KA performer, Sarah Guillot-Guyard died when she fell 100 feet in a harness accident while performing during the show at the MGM.
On July 22, David VanBuskirk, a Metro police officer had a harness accident up in Mount Charleston, where he was killed after rescuing a hiker.
And yesterday, a worker working for a sign company fell 150 feet from the MGM sign in a harness accident but he lived after falling into some palm trees before falling to the ground.
3 major harness accidents in a month just in Las Vegas. Coincidence? Related somehow? Somewhere in between?
But it certainly is strange, if not rare.
