Most people would recognize this as a fire engine and not a ladder truck, even though it does have a ladder on it.
But considering the reporter of the story, it may not be a surprise that this fool could not identify a fire truck:
I'm a summer intern in Reuters' Detroit bureau. My work there will mostly focus on covering the automotive industry, but I'll also help cover the ongoing issues in the city of Detroit.
I spent the first few months of 2013 as an intern with Michigan Radio, the National Public Radio affiliate based in Ann Arbor.
