Obama is vacationing in Hawaii and people are dying in his hometown and Obama still says nothing.
From the Chicago Tribune: Four people have been killed and at least eleven others have been wounded in shootings on the South and West sides since Tuesday morning, police said.
Tuesday night, a 38-year-old man was discovered shot to death in a car in the Austin neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired and found the 38-year-old man sitting in the driver's seat of a car in the 1100 block of North Leclaire Avenue, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man had been fatally shot in his head. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. As of early Wednesday morning, police were conducting a homicide investigation, Gaines said.
Hours earlier, a 20-year-old man was discovered dead in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood in the 7800 block of South Lowe Avenue about 8:55 p.m., said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a police spokesman.
Officers responded to a calls of a person shot and discovered a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his chest in the basement of a building on the block, police said. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-shootings-chicago-20141223-story.html
