From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Suabna Xiong sat in a chair in her kitchen Sunday morning, crying and clutching the neatly folded clothes that belonged to her 13-month-old son, Bill Thao, who was shot and killed Saturday night when someone fired several gunshots into a northwest-side Milwaukee home.
As relatives comforted her in the family's small kitchen, her husband, Thao Somboon, tried to make sense of what had happened Saturday night in the home of a relative, just north of the W. Mill Road branch of the Division of Motor Vehicles.
"The doctors tried to stop the bleeding, but we were told the bullet had severed an artery," Somboon said. "They could not stop the bleeding."
The killing of the boy, in the lower level of a duplex in the 6400 block of N. 73rd St., comes at the end of an already deadly year for children in Milwaukee. Sierra Guyton, a 10-year-old girl, was shot on a playground on May 21 and died July 13. And just last month, a 5-year-old girl was killed inside a home. Laylah Peterson was sitting on her grandfather's lap Nov. 6 when she was struck by gunfire and died. http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/family-mourns-for-13-month-old-boy-shot-killed-in-milwaukee-house-b99416318z1-286957001.html
Will there be marches for this baby or do the racist thugs who protest for thugs only care about thugs being killed by cops?
