Today, in the Norm article, it was written that Harry Reid was shopping at Whole Foods with his wife and had two Secret Service agents in tow.

First, the Secret Service does not or is not supposed to guard Senators. So, I think Norm was wrong.
So, now, Harry Reid a huge proponent of man made global warming is driving around in not 1 but two Suburbans when going shopping?
I don't begrudge Reid from having security when he goes shopping, especially at Whole Foods. (it's a joke)
But why do you need two large gas guzzling, heavy polluting SUV's to do it?
Hypocrisy, thy name is Reid.

Yesterday, June 7, 2017 I spotted Reid and what looked to be several "staffers" and family at a lunch in Green Valley. Seated next to their table were two men in suit coats, looking like secret service detail. Sure enough, when Reid and crew were finished eating, the two "security" escorted Reid out the back of the restaurant to a waiting SUV at curbside. These two men looked like secret service -- government employees. Are taxpayers still paying for this detail? If so, why? I'd like to know. And also, why would a former senator need security detail for lunch in Green Valley?

ReplyDeleteMy sister and brother-in-law live in the same gated community. I was just in Las Vegas in February of 2020. We drove by his home, he does indeed still have government protection. The SUV was outside of his home with an agent on the watch. DC Government plates. Glad to know my tax dollars are paying to protect that scum. Outrageous!!
