Due to technical problems beyond my control, a virus in my home computer, I am not able to blog about the Pawn Stars tonight. However, the show is doing reruns tonight and if you put in pawn stars in the lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com search box, you will be able to find all the different blogs I have written about Pawn Stars.
However, the Tru TV network is going to have a pawn shop show directly competing against the Pawn Star show starting Aug 16th. (cable channel 54 in Las Vegas) It will be interesting. If the new show is like Operation Repo, where they fake scenes with actors and fake props, it's not going to do well. However, if the show is somewhat real like Pawn Stars, with no actors, then it will be interesting to see the ratings.

Did you see that Suncoast casino will be hosting a Pawn Stars Road Show? I always think of PBS's Antiques Roadshow when I watch Pawn Stars. It's not really as much a show about a pawn shop as it is a show for weirdos and collectors to come get free appraisals on TV. So now they're takin' it on the road. :)
