Does Obama even care at the cost of this trip? Of course not, it's all about him. If it costs that much and take away from the Navy 34 ships, perhaps he should not be going to India. Hell, at $200,000,000 a day, it would be cheaper to bring the important people of India here. And do you think Obama will visit the famous India slums? Yeah, didn't think so.
Let's see, $200,000,000 a day can help a lot of people, especially the unemployed here in the U.S. and the poor in India. What a commercial this will be for the GOP in 2012.

I don't know - there's something to be said for a little power projection from the sea, especially with a high profile visit to such an important emerging regional power, which itself borders even more important regional and world powers.
