From The Las Vegas Sun: "A Tennessee judge has ruled that the state's lethal injection method is unconstitutional, settting up a showdown before the state's high court over how it executes prisoners.
Davidson County Chancellor Claudia Bonnyman sided with defense attorneys who argued the mix of drugs used by the state could allow condemned inmates to die by suffocation while awake. Bonnyman heard testimony from several medical experts." http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/nov/19/us-tennessee-death-penalty/
Umm, ok and who cares if he suffocates before or after he is awake or unconscious? Dead is dead.
But a simple solution to this problem is to have the thug killed the way he killed his victims, a mother and her daughter. Or maybe we could put him out his misery by using a sledge hammer to the head. Problem solved.
This is just a stupid argument. The wacked out judge is just looking for an excuse to spare the thug's life. No concern for the mother and daughter who were killed by this thug. No concern for the law and no concern for the victim's family.
And of course the Sun really doesn't care about the victims either. In the article they mention the thug's name two times. The victim's name? Zero. Nada. None.
The victim's names are Wanda Romines and her 15-year-old daughter, Sheila Romines. The thug was convicted in 1987.
What a bunch of pathetic a-holes in Tennessee.
