The Clark County School District is saying there will be a $250,000,000 budget deficit because the governor's budget. But let's run the numbers. From the Las Vegas Sun:
The governor has proposed reducing the average statewide per student support from $5,192 this fiscal year to $4,918 in each of the next two fiscal years.

The difference between the two year is $274 per student.
There are about 306,000 students in CCSD.
This results in a funding loss of $83,844,000
The difference between $250 million and $83.844 million is $166,156,000.
Where is the rest of the money being lost?
