Are Newspapers Obsolete?

I suppose I can write a college length article about newspapers being obsolete, but here is my very shortened version:
I subscribed to the Las Vegas Review Journal/Las Vegas Sun for a very cheap price and 99% of the articles in the newspapers have been on the Internet for 24 hours or longer.  About the only things not on the Internet earlier maybe the comics page.  Maybe some of the advertisements as well.
So, yes,  newspapers are obsolete.
There, I just wish writing papers when I was in school was this easy.
