From the Wisconsin Daily Tribune: A Spencer woman who witnessed two deer leap to their deaths from a
Highway 10 overpass Friday morning is calling for fencing or some other
way to prevent such situations.
The incident came about seven months after a large buck jumped off the same overpass and died.
Heather
Johnson, 33, was driving south on Washington Avenue south of Marshfield
at about 7:30 a.m. when she saw the two confused does standing in the
middle of the bridge on the new Highway 10.
