Stupidist Lie Of The Year

Even though we are in the first week of the year, Gwyneth Paltrow has to have the lie of the year. She accused Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy of sexual harassment.
From Norm of the LVRJ: During her appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," Gwyneth Paltrow recounted a bizarre encounter over the weekend with former illusionist Roy Horn of Siegfried & Roy at The Cosmopolitan's grand opening.
Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, said Horn "asked me to lift up my skirt, and then he tried to kiss me on the lips.

Umm. Roy Horn. Of Sigfried and Roy? Can we say flaming, when describing Roy Horn?
Maybe Roy Horn came out of the closet and became straight? Maybe Gwyneth Paltrow can do that to gay men? Maybe in her dreams.
However, in a follow up article, Norm says this: Horn's friend, who met Paltrow in Paris a few years ago at a function involving then-French president Jacques Chirac, invited Paltrow over to meet Horn, who was in a wheelchair.
Horn, who nearly died seven years ago after being mauled by a tiger during Siegfried & Roy's show at The Mirage, insisted on standing up for the introduction, the source said.
"The only thing he said to her was, 'Boy you are awfully tall,' " the source said. "He didn't even know who she was. Roy is a gentleman. That's the only thing out of his mouth."

Considering that Horn had a traumatic brain injury from the tiger attack, I tend to believe the second version. Unless, of course, being attacked by a tiger can change sexual prefence, which I doubt.
So, congratulations to Gwyneth Paltrow for the lie of the year for 2011.
