Occupy Las Vegas Holds Protest-No One Shows Up

Today, the Occupy Las Vegas crowd scheduled a protest/rally at a Wells Fargo bank in the 4400 block of Spring Mountain. From the Occupy Las Vegas web site:
Date/Time: Friday, November 4, 2011 - 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Demonstration at Wells FargoLocation: 4425 Spring Mountain Rd., LV (corner of Spring Mtn. & Arville St.)Time: 3 - 6 PM

Except no one showed up for the protest/rally. From a comment on their web site:

Mechanism for notifying folks if demos are cancelled
Took us 45 minutes to get there from Green Valley, due to heavy traffic, only to find no one was there, and no one had ever come (according to on-site security guard). I know it doesn't rain often, but there should be a policy that if chance of rain at a set percent, any demo is cancelled or postponed. And the web site should be changed immediately to tell folks it was cancelled. As I write this, the banner is still announcing the demo 3-6 today. Just saying

Communication FAIL
4:25 pm. I roll through the light at Spring Mountain and Arville. Yep, there's the Wells Fargo. I pull into the lot, end up circling the building...and I see...nothing! I pull up the OLV website, check the address, yep, it's the right place. I snap some cell phone pix and circle the property one last time before driving off thinking just one thing: WTF

There have been no reports in the news media of the rally.
So, Occupy Las Vegas shows us once again that it has been an epic failure and that point cannot be argued.
