From the LVRJ:(Specialist Matthew R.) "Hennigan, a 2007 graduate of Silverado High School, was assigned to 173rd Special Troops Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Bamberg, Germany.
Members of his family weren't available for comment because they were traveling to Dover, Del., to await the return of his body, a military source said."

It's been a very bad week for Silverado H.S. students and alums. First, Silverado volunteer coach Randall Cunningham's toddler son drowned in an hot tub accident at his home and now Hennigan, an alum from Silverado, has died in Afghanistan.
There has to be some very sad people over there.
