Does Sharron Angle Understand That She Is In A Senate Race?

To start, I like Sharron Angle. She is a great candidate to defeat Harry Reid in the Senate in November but I just don't understand why she is not fighting very much.
President Obama is coming to Las Vegas tomorrow night and businesses are going to be losing money because of it. Her response: nothing.
Harry Reid keeps saying that the Las Vegas is turning around and Sharon's response? Very little other than an occasional press release and media interview.
According to her web site, she has put out a total 1 press release since June 22.
You just don't hear many commercials from her. Reid and his buddies are putting plenty of media advertisements out there. She is allowing Reid to define her. It would be nice to see Angle do an occasional media buy just to let people know she is out there.
Her July calendar has only about 10 events on it out of 31 days. Why? She should be going to every chicken dinner venue as possible. On July 4th, she was in Elko. Elko? It's a nice city, but she already has Elko won. She needs to be high profile. What about events in Vegas and Reno? She needs to go into Harry Reid territory, that is where she needs to fight and where the election will be decided.
She needs to get a hold of her supporters and not blow them off.
It's nice she is going on mostly national media but most Nevadan's do not watch CNN, Fox and no one in the country watches MSNBC. Nobody watches Jon Ralston nor do most even care what he says. So, she has to expand out to other media.
Angle needs to reach out to the grass roots. Blogs, cheap advertisements buys or anything that let people know she is out there. Local interviews are nice. Meet and greets are also helpful.
I just hope Angle know she is in a tough fight. It's her election to lose.

  1. She did an interview with Heidi Harris this morning. Sharron said to expect more ads, still needs more $. I did see a commercial against Harry tonight, not sure who paid for it.

  2. Thanks, Wally, for the info. But since this is my vacation time, I am usually asleep during Harris's show. :)
