Green Energy is supposed to lead us out our high employment in Nevada, or says Harry
Reid. Well, at this rate, we will need trillions of dollars to help us. The
Las Vegas Sun
surprisingly has a good article on the boondoggle of green energy in Nevada and elsewhere:
Some statistics about Copper Mountain Solar, a 775,000-panel array outside Boulder City that went online last year as the largest photovoltaic solar plant in the United States, might seem surprising. And not in a good way. Temporary construction jobs created: 350. Not bad. Nevadans employed: 262. That’s a good share. Solar power coming to Nevada: 0. Zip. Parts manufactured in Nevada: 0. Zilch. Permanent jobs created: 5. That’s not a typo. State incentives developer Sempra Generation received: $12 million. That’s not a typo, either. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/apr/03/solar-power-lukewarm-job-production/ That is just State of Nevada money that was mentioned in the story. How much federal money was involved? Probably at least that if not more. Yep, throwing good money after bad. And this is what Obama and Reid think will save the country. $12,000,000 of State of Nevada money for 5
permanent jobs. What a pathetic set of moronic fools. Green Energy= fraud.
