Support The Troops? Not The Las Vegas Sun

The Las Vegas Sun is just rife with hypocrisy and the Sun shows no shame to let liberal trolls rip about things liberals don't like, like war in Afghanistan. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jul/05/nellis-airmen-dies-injuries-afghanistan-helicopter/
Last Friday, an Airman at Nellis passed away after his helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan. The Sun finally gets around to announcing the death today, even though a certain blogger and the LVRJ wrote about it very early Sunday morning. http://lasvegasbadger.blogspot.com/2010/07/another-airman-killed-in-afghanistan.html
When a prominent member of the community passes away, The Sun does not allow comments on their death. Two recent examples are the death of Brian Greenspun's mother and this weekend, the death of college president. No comments allowed.
Now, when the serviceman passes away, they allow comments and the liberal trolls come out of the woodwork and question the war.
Now, there should be a debate whether the war in Afghanistan is needed or not or whether we should be there or not or if the rules of engagement should be changed.
But you don't have the debate when announcing the death of an Airman. That is just pathetic and hurtful.
Support the troops? No, The Sun does not support the troops.
