Can You See The Prositution Scandal Happening Uner Bush?

The prostitution scandal involving the Secret Service and members of the military has been in the headlines the past few days.  At first, I thought that President Obama was just had a really bad week and really was caught up in the scandal that he had no part of.
But after thinking more and  more about it, I had to wonder why this is happening under Obama and not other presidents?  Why would highly trained police officers who have the highest security clearance available do these stupid things that cops on Dukes of Hazzard would do?  Why would they risk their careers by playing with hookers and other women?
Well, the obvious answer is that they thought they could get away with it.  Apparently, the supervision of the agents and military is sorely lacking.  But why?  Again, it has to go pretty high up in the Obama administration that these agents and soldiers are not afraid of being caught.  Do they do these stupid things because they don't like the president?  Perhaps.
Obama and his wife go on so many vacations and trips that it is no longer a thrill to go, so maybe the agents going the trips are either getting burned out or it is no longer special going on these trips.
But why haven't these things happen under Bush or any other president?  You know if this was happening under Bush, the media would be all over this and reported it in even a more forceful way than the media is doing now.  And if something like this did happen under Bush, he would have been pissed.  But it didn't happen under Bush because he demanded perfection and respect from the people serving him.  Obama?  When he said he will get mad if it is found out someone did something wrong.  Huh?  I this were Bush, heads would already be rolling and not just the agents involved.  How come no one was fired after this:
The Secret Service prostitution scandal escalated Tuesday with the disclosure that at least 20 women had been in hotel rooms with U.S. agents and military personnel just before President Barack Obama arrived for a summit with Latin American leaders. The head of the Secret Service said he had referred the matter to an independent government investigator.
Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan, shuttling between briefings for lawmakers on Capitol Hill, was peppered with questions about whether the women had access to sensitive information that could have jeopardized Obama's security.
Sullivan said the 11 Secret Service agents and 10 military personnel under investigation were telling different stories about who the women were. Sullivan has dispatched more investigators to Colombia to interview the women, said Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.

And where are the liberals on this issue?  Where is Harry Reid, Shelly Berkley and Nancy Pelosi?  Why are they not speaking out?  Again, this shows the lack of common sense and lack of leadership from the Obama administration, but they are trying to protect the president and leaving the investigation in the hands of the GOP.  How stupid, politically, is that?
So, would this happen under George Bush?  No, he commanded respect from the people serving while Obama does not command the same respect from those that serve him.  How else can you explain the stupid actions of the agents and military personnel?

  1. I can't see any way to pin this on Obama. It was HIS protection potentially comprimised.

I could be wrong, but I don't think much changes between administrations in organizations like the Secret Service. They serve every president.

I think this scandal is hugely embarrassing, but not to Obama, particularly. To the organization and potentially the country. But who says the SS wasn't getting hookers and blow in Dubya's admin? They just didn't get busted!
