Rick Santorum dropped out of the GOP presidential race today and for this we thank Rick.
First, we conservatives thank Rick for making Mitt Romney address the concerns of the conservatives of the GOP.
Second, we thank Rick for making Romney more accountable to the voters.
We thank Rick for making Romney a tougher campaigner. Obama will be a cake walk compared to Santorum.
And we thank Rick for getting out when he did. He made his statement, got his delegates and now the GOP can focus on Obama, retaking the Senate and keeping control of the House.
So, Thank you, Rick Santorum for your help in helping the conservatives take back the White House and the senate and the House.
But the GOP being the GOP, they will find a way to lose the elections.

Rick Santorum also drove Mitt Romney far to the right on several issues, making it difficult for him to tack to the center for the general election. If Mitt were to double back, he'd be guilty of a flip-flop-flip!

ReplyDeleteJust remember, that Romney is not the choice of the majority of Republicans and us conservaives think he is another McCain.
