From ESPN:Lakers forward Metta World Peace has been ejected for elbowing Oklahoma City's James Harden in the head. World Peace was ejected for a flagrant foul late in the second quarter Sunday. World
Peace had just dunked on a fast break and was celebrating his basket
while running upcourt when he ran into Harden. While World Peace
pounded his chest with his right arm, he threw his left elbow right
over Harden's shoulder and into the back of his head. Harden dropped to the court and stayed down for about a minute. Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka and teammates challenged World Peace, but they were kept apart. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/7843190/los-angeles-lakers-metta-world-peace-ejected-elbowing-oklahoma-city-thunder-james-harden-head
Just another reason not to like basketball. A guy makes a shot and thumps his chest like he is the best basketball player around or made a game winning in the 7th game of of NBA finals. At the time of the stupidity, the Lakers were trailing or close to it.
Update: I watched the video and this is a thug move by World Peace and he will be suspended. He's lucky he didn't hurt James Harden.
Maybe it is time for Metta World Peace to change his name to Metta Big Stupid Idiot.
