How Not To Treat Customers: The Subway Way

This evening at around 8:00 PM, we decided to get some Subway sandwiches from Subway, which in our area, and is on Horizon and Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson.
When we got there, at 8:00, they were all out of white/Italian bread and the person behind the counter said they had no plans in baking any more bread.  It was wheat bread or nothing.  We choose nothing.and left and went to another Subway a few miles away.
My guess the guy behind the counter will not be in the customer service business much longer.

update: Their new BBQ chicken sandwich sucks.  I would not recommend it. Ever.

  1. I don't know how you make bread, but the way we make it takes 2 hours. We need to thaw out the dough, which takes a while, let it proof, then put it in the proofer for about 55 minutes. Then we bake it. It takes a while. If we made bread at 8pm, it'd be ready right we need to close. Then it would be thrown away in the morning. Waste.

Being practical and following the rules he's paid to follow? Pretty sure he'll be keeping his job as long as he wants it.

And yes, I'm not a fan of the BBQ either, but everyone has different tastes.
