How Out Of Touch Is Crybaby Harry Reid? Even A Senate Dem Wants An Investigation

Crybaby/Coward Harry Reid shows once again how out of touch Reid is when it comes to the GSA (General Services Administration) wasteful spending at a Las Vegas convention when a top Senate Democrat wants an investigation.
From Fox News: A top Senate Democrat on Sunday joined the chorus of lawmakers vowing to get to the bottom of what happened in Vegas -- after a federal agency blew through more than $820,000 for a 2010 conference.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., the No. 2 Democrat in the chamber, said the subcommittee he leads on the Senate Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing on the controversy when Congress returns from break.
"It's an absolutely outrageous expenditure of taxpayers' money," Durbin said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "That kind of misuse of taxpayers' funds is totally unacceptable."
The exploits of the Public Buildings Service, a chapter of the General Services Administration, have emerged as one of the few things Democrats and Republicans in Washington can agree on. Lawmakers of both parties have roundly condemned the conference spending, detailed in an inspector general's report last week, as over-the-top.
But according to Crybaby/Coward/Lying Harry Reid, we don't need no stinkin' investigation.  In fact, Reid does not even have any information on the GSA investigation, unlike our smarter but junior senator, Dean Heller.
Maybe it is a Dumbocrat thing, but soon to be unemployed Rep. Shelly Berkley also doesn't mention the scandal on her government web site.  But she did find time to have a press release on Trayvon Martin and Rush Limbaugh, which has nothing to do with the problems going on in Nevada.
So, I do hope the Senate and the House will conduct investigations into the GSA and other government junkets.  Hopefully, this will also include junkets by our elected officials who also waste a ton of money on their trips, vacations and home visits.
It's time for the government employees and politicians to realize that they work for the taxpayer and the taxpayer demands accountability.
