From the NY Daily News: A Republican House staffer ridiculed the first daughters’ Thanksgiving Day outfits ― and suggested the 13- and 16-year-old girls looked like they were heading to a bar.
Elizabeth Lauten, communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.), blasted Malia and Sasha Obama for their ‘classless’ attitudes during the presidential Thanksgiving address on national television. In a vicious Facebook rant, she also scoffed at their “disrespectful” wardrobes, The Root reported.
The teen girls appeared at their father’s side Thursday as he delivered the annual address on national television. Many people joked about their unimpressed scowls, pointing out that even the President is just embarrassing dad to his girls.
But Lauten found the slight eye rolls and smirks offensive
“Dear Sasha and Malia, I get you’re both in those awful teenage years, but you’re a part of the first Family, try showing a little class,” she wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post, which was quickly screen grabbed by Yesha Callahan, a writer for The Root.
She continued: “Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much, or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department.”
Then, she attacked what the girls were wearing.FacebookElizabeth Lauten, a Republican house staffer, slammed the teenage girls in a Facebook rant.
“Dress like you deserve respect, not a spot at a bar. And certainly don’t make faces during televised, public events,” she wrote.
Sasha wore a short dress, paired with a long cardigan, mid-calf socks and boots, while Malia wore a mini plaid skirt, sweater and tights.
Lauten deleted the rant a few hours later and issued an apology:

I'm sorry but the dresses/shorts the girls are wearing are way too short.
These girls would not pass dress code, if they worse these clothes to school. The standard rule is that girls should not wear shorts/dresses if the shorts/dresses are 2 finger widths above the knees and what these two girls are wearing way more than 2 finger widths above the knee.
And yes, these girls are wearing shorts/dresses that some hookers in Vegas would wear.
But since Obama spends so much time in Vegas, maybe his girls are trying to fit right in.
