Members of law enforcement say there is a possibility of a terrorist attack during the 4th of July holiday.
But they don't say there is a credible threat.
So, why is law enforcement working overtime for a threat that probably does not exist?
Two reasons and probably the main reasons:
Holiday pay for the cops
Reason 2: Overtime pay for the cops and supervisors.
Combine the 2 reasons and some cops will be making 4-5 times their hourly wage. Heck, some older cops might be bringing home around $100 an hour for working this weekend, especially with federal cops.
Nice pay for a threat that doesn't or barely exists.
