From the Sporting News: Quite a few celebrities play poker, and James Woods is one of the most well-known of the actors in the game. He can often be found in Atlantic City or Los Angeles poker rooms and casinos. And during the summer months, he enjoys playing tournaments at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas....
PokerNews reported that Woods required medical attention and was in the hallway of the Rio, outside of the tournament room, receiving oxygen. He was communicating with paramedics by pointing to his chest. He was then transported to the hospital for testing.
A bit later, Woods took to his @RealJamesWoods Twitter account to report on his progress.
“I did what every person my age should do with any sign of sudden symptoms that could be cardiac related. I’m sharing hoping others take care.” ...
