I was talking to a landlord from Northern Arizona today and they said they don't have a real problem with illegal immigrants.
The reason.
If they rent to a person/family of illegals, they can be fined $10,000 per instance.
Because of this, they make damn sure they don't rent to illegals. They demand a Social Security card and picture ID.
And this is one reason they don't worry too much about the crisis on the border.
Maybe if other states would follow Arizona's lead, we would not be having a crisis down in Texas and other states.
