What do Presidents Reagan, Clinton, Bush 41 and Donald Trump have in common?
They are Teflon men, people/press sling mud at them and the mud just slides off of them.
Another example of Teflon Trump:
From the NY Daily News: Donald Trump denied mocking a reporter’s physical disability on Thursday — insisting he has no idea what the journalist looks like and lashed out at the “financially failing and totally biased” New York Times for calling him out for the slur.
“I have no idea who this reporter, Serge Kovlaski, is, what he looks like or his level of intelligence,” Trump said in a statement Thursday. “I don’t know if he is J.J. Watt or Muhammad Ali in his prime — or somebody of less athletic or physical ability.”
Trump had gone after Kovaleski, who has a congenital condition called arthrogryposis that limits the movement of joints, at a campaign rally, flailing his arms in apparent mockery of the reporter’s movements.

OK, I do believe Trump never met the guy and there is no evidence that he has or that Trump knew of the writer's disability.
2nd, Considering that the writer with the disability is from New York and the New York Times, I already have a preconceived notion that the writer is a liberal loon who hates conservatives. It's the NY Times and that is what they do. They are biased and their reporting is biased and often inaccurate... you ever read their corrections section? And they also lose money hand over fist.
3rd: So what if the guy has a disability. Are you telling me all of a sudden this supposed hardened and top notch reporter all of a sudden got such a thin skin and now he is crying like a baby with a wet diaper and is hungry?
finally, the media hate Donald trump, unless of course, they can make money off of him. He brings in ratings and people read about him. But the liberals who don't care about ratings, well, they hate him.
Finally, this is just instance of piling on by the media and it pisses them off that he still is leading in the polls. The writers all are trying to be the one who brings down Trump and they all have failed.
Meanwhile, Trump is just having a grand old time, leading in the polls and there isn't anyone who can do anything about it except the voters, and that is probably what angers the media the most.

I don't believe Trump for a second. The reporter, Serge Kovaleski, has said he's interviewed Trump several times and known him for years. Not to mention, it's fairly clear--on video--that Trump is mocking the guy.
ReplyDeleteI cannot figure out the appeal of Donald Trump, not in politics, and not as a celebrity. He's utterly classless, but claims to be the pinnacle of class. He's truthiness turned on its ridiculously-coiffed head.
