The "Give me my obamapone" and "Give me my Obama money" clowns won tonight as Obama claimed victory in the Electoral College. It's quite possible Romney wins the popular vote.
So, what does this mean for America? Well, since the GOP won the House and still has a chance to win the Senate, not much will happen legislatively.
Executive Order wise, we are doomed. If Obama doesn't get what he wants from Congress, he will go go the Executive Order route and we have to hope the GOP fight the Order, along with the Supreme Court.
Speaking of the Supreme Court, there will be some liberal openings. The GOP in the Senate has to block any extremely liberal appointee.
And for us conservative bloggers, this next 4 years will give us plenty to write about.
So, now for the local elections.

It will be okay, Dan. I saw that economists were predicting that the economy would likely improve no matter who won. The caricature of Obama that has been painted is also not the real guy. He's not of your party, but he's not a demon. Take a breath, blow it out. Get a good night's sleep. It'll be okay.
ReplyDeleteAnd trust me, I have been there. 2004 hit me like a hammer. But we survived it. My blog was born from it. Obama was born from it, but don't think about that too hard. . . :) Somebody had to win, and somebody had to lose. I think this was good for the country. You disagree, but you'll have another shot at it in 4 years.
