From Fox News:
The White House sent three officials to attend Monday's funeral for Michael Brown in St. Louis -- three more than it sent for former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's funeral last year.
The administration's handling of the Brown funeral already has started to raise comparisons between the two.
Late last week, the police chief of Elmendorf, Texas was murdered in cold blood while he tried to arrest a tagger.
From My San Antonio: Michael Pimentel, chief of police in Elmendorf, received a phone call just after 9 a.m. last Tuesday from the city's water administrator, who reported that a marked city vehicle had been tagged at the city cemetery.
In an arrest warrant affidavit, Pimentel detailed how he investigated the case himself and concluded that Joshua Manuel Lopez, 24, was the vandal.
Four days later, authorities said, Lopez shot Pimentel to death at a traffic stop.
Now, Lopez is in the Bexar County Jail, facing a charge of capital murder of a police officer in addition to the graffiti charge. His bail exceeds $1 million.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating the Saturday incident, near Lopez's home on South First Avenue, that culminated in Pimentel's death. Detectives have not determined whether Pimentel was serving the graffiti warrant when he was shot, said Rosanne Hughes, BCSO spokeswoman. http://www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/article/Elmendorf-police-chief-investigated-his-suspected-5710943.php
