From the LVRJ: A dead baby was found in a trash bin Wednesday morning in the central valley.
Las Vegas police said the baby was found shortly after 8 a.m.
Wednesday morning at the Rancho Mesa Apartments, 2881 N. Rancho Drive,
near the North Las Vegas Airport.
Homicide Lt. Ray Steiber said the baby was between 3 months and 6
months old. The child has not been identified and no suspects have been
located, he said.
It's unclear how long the baby had been dead. Steiber declined to
discuss whether the body had decomposed and said the baby's gender and
race hadn't even been determined.
"We're taking it slowly so we don't miss anything," he said.
Steiber said police were checking when the trash bin had last been emptied.

In Las Vegas, we have had more than our fair share of dead infants and toddlers and young kids, but rarely have we had a case where the baby was just thrown away like a piece of trash. There is a special place in hell for these thugs who did this.
