Bad, Bad Companies

Today, the family had 2 bad experiences with companies.
First, my wife was trying to set up a payment plan with ATT for our family's cell phone.  She made an arrangement that would have our made our payment later in the month.
So, the brilliant call taker/non customer care person not only set up our payment to be taken out of our checking account.  And for good measure, the call taker also hit the right keys and took out an extra payment for today.  So, she had us pay 2 times this month when only 1 time would have been good.
When we caught the error, ATT decided we needed some culture, so they sent us to talk to people in India and the Philippines, along with the United States.
And we still don't know our problem was solved.
Then there is outfit/company named Ameritox, which apparently is a drug testing company out of Georgia.
(FYI, it is or was also owned by Bain Capital)
Well, we got a bill from them today in which they are billing us over $635 for 1 drug test I talked a year ago.  They used several different medical codes to jack up the price.
Further, my insurance company already paid them and I paid a $10 co-pay.
So, if you ever have to deal with this company- don't- they already have paid penalties for fraud.  And if you think you are victims of fraud by this company, which we are, report them to somebody- like we will.
So, if you are in the market for a new cell phone and provider, don't use ATT- they suck and beware of some crooked company named Ameritox.
