President Obama got more electoral votes, and won by more in the popular vote than George W. Bush did in 2004. That was when Bush declared that he had a mandate, and that he had political capital now, and was going to spend it. He also won by a margin that the right wing pundits were predicting for Romney. . .and they were calling it a "landslide."

And what did you liberals do when Bush said that? I'm pretty sure you didn't agree with him.
ReplyDeleteYeah, well we were pretty well drowned out back then, weren't we? And as I said, this time, Obama's margins were bigger. And if 300+ electoral votes would have been a landslide for Romney, then it also must be a landslide for Obama, right?
