Ecuadorian Illegal Immigrants Living In NYC,Their Kid Commits Suicide In Mexico

What a bunch of asshole parents.
From the El Paso Times: The girl who was found hanging in a Juárez shelter last week is believed to be from Ecuador, officials said Wednesday while confirming that her parents live in New York.
Ecuadorian and Mexican officials said DNA tests will be performed to confirm that the girl is Yoselín Nohemí Álvarez Quillay, a 12-year-old from the Cañar Province, in central Ecuador.
At first, Mexican authorities identified her as 8-year-old Nohemí Álvarez Astorga or Nohemí Álvarez BárcenaThs. The "coyote," or human smuggler, who was paid to cross her into the United States told authorities the girl was from the Mexican state of Durango.
But the General Consulate of Ecuador in Monterrey contacted the Chihuahua Attorney General's Office in Juárez Tuesday afternoon to ask for more information on Álvarez.
"I was informed by the Consulate of Ecuador in New York City that an Ecuadorian couple was trying to find their daughter in El Paso," the Ecuadorian general consul in Monterrey, Francisco Torres, said....
Torres said Álvarez's parents are devastated and cannot understand what drove their daughter to suicide.

Oh, let's see, the parents abdanoned their kid while they go live in the U.S. and NYC.  They leave the kid, a 12 year old, to fend for herself with human smugglers while she travels from Ecuador tothe U.S. via Mexico.  Then she gets arrested and placed into a shelter, which probably had horrible living conditions.
What could go wrong?
The parents are 100% responsible for the poor girl's death.
