Yesterday, the UConn Huskies men's basketball defeated Kentucky for the men's NCAA basketball championshi.
Today, the UConn women's basketball capped a 40-0 season by destroying Notre Dame 79-58 in the women's championship game. This is UConn's 9th championship and they are 9-0 in title games.
UConn, for the 2nd time, won both the men and women's champioship in the same year. They are the only school to do this and they also did this in 2004.
