Question: How much has been spent so far in political advertising for each adult in Nevada?
$5.94 per adult has been spent on political advertising, according to the LVRJ:
Even in Nevada's economic doldrums, one industry is alive and well in the Silver State - political advertising.
Thanks
to loose campaign finance laws and Nevada's place as a key presidential
battleground, more than $100 million has been spent on federal races in
the Silver State, bringing mailboxes stuffed with mailers and
televisions crowded with commercials.....
To put it in perspective, $5.94 has been spent on political ads for
every adult Nevadan, the most in the nation, according to an analysis by
National Public Radio.
The next closest was New Hampshire at $5.35. Swing states Ohio and Florida were far behind at $3.21 and $2.63, respectively. http://www.lvrj.com/news/more-than-100-million-spent-on-federal-races-in-nevada-177140681.html
I don't about you, but I certainly got more than my money's worth. And while I don't like it, but it is what it is and if we want to live in a free society with freedom of speech, we have to put up with these political commercials.
But in 2 days, they will be over and we will stuck listening to Glenn Lerner, attorney at law, commercials.
